Houston police officers were caught on video doing donuts in the snow, and now the man who posted the footage says he's being targeted by the city's police union.

Hamon Brown recorded and uploaded the clip, showing a police vehicle spinning donuts in a snowy parking lot. The clip went viral, and rather than take accountability, the Houston Police Officers' Union called Brown a "snitch" on Facebook.

In a post tagged with #CopsLoveDonuts, the union mocked a crack in Brown's windshield, captured as he was filming the police. The union also resurfaced previous videos of Brown "ghost-riding" his own car in an apparent attempt to discredit him.

"I ain't did nothing wrong. Y'all were in the wrong," Brown told KTRK, admitting the retaliatory response scared him. "It is really messing with me because y'all are posting all my business on social media."

"We are human," Police Union President Doug Griffith said, dismissing the backlash. "We like to have a good time just like they do."

Criminology professor Kimberly Dodson called the union's actions "textbook retaliation," warning that it could discourage citizens from reporting police misconduct.

"They know what they did was wrong," Griffith said, insisting the matter had been addressed. He went on to deny that the union seeks revenge against those who file complaints.

"You can complain all you want," she said. "We don't go out there hunting people for complaining about police officers."
