An abandoned four-story, multi million dollar mansion in the Hollywood Hills now sits covered in "beautiful" graffiti.

The $6.5 million home is reportedly owned by John Powers Middleton, whose father is the owner of the Philadelphia Phillies, according to ABC News. Middleton has allegedly not paid taxes on the house in several years, causing a lien to be issued against the property.

This also isn't the first time one of Middleton's properties have been ransacked by squatters. A 2023 ABC News report showed the aftermath of another vandalized mansion, owned by Middleton.

The home has sat vacant for the last two years, according to KLTA, who spoke to unnamed taggers responsible for the graffiti.

"it's beautiful look at it, one tagger said, adding, "It's got potential for a lot of graffiti art."

The office of L.A. Councilwoman Nithya Raman claims to be working to resolve the issue, but has not yet delivered a solution, ABC reported.

Raman's office issued a statement that said, "This is in egregious violation of the law and we are elevating the issue with the abandoned buildings unit at the department of building and safety to ensure that the fullest extent of enforcement is being implemented urgently and swiftly. This is a public safety issue with serious consequences for both neighbors and the surrounding community. Irresponsible property owners like the one at 7571 Mulholland Drive must take accountability for their property or face action from the city."
