Modern art with an old-school metal edge? You got it! Urban Decay just launched their Heavy Metals Metallic Eyeshadow Palette and extended the shades in the Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner collection. The metallic shades of Urban Decay’s iconic eyeshadow is the brand first-ever all-metallic eyeshadow palette, housing 20 super- shimmery color.
The eyeshadow holds micro fine bits of iridescent sparkle that collide with intense, dreamy hues and lush 3-D, multi-dimensional metallics for an effect that’s out of this world. The eyeshadow feels like a cream but goes on like a powder to create a smooth, brilliantly reflective look. Housed in a killer lavender case that looks like it was smashed on one end creates a crushed metal effect. The palette slides open and comes equipped with a full-sized mirror for application on the go.
The UD's all new eyeliners are all the glitz of glam rock without the spandex or bad hair in one bottle. These new arresting shades of glitter are suspended in a clear base and apply with a tiny, precise brush. Paint thin lines with the tip of the brush, or sweeping color with the side of the brush for dramatic, jewel-encrusted eyes, you can even use it on your lips! Once dry, they will not budge - the glitter won't fall to your cheeks or transfer to your makeout partner's face.
The makeup brand also launched the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Meets Matte Lipstick Palette! When it comes to the creamy, addictive Vice Lipstick too much is never enough. You can indulge your vice with 12 must-have shades of vice lipstick, including 6 all-new shades ranging in finishes from matte to metalized. Wear shades individually or layer and mix shades and finishes for a completely customized look. No matter what you’re in the mood for, these limited-edition palettes have it all. Their proprietary Pigment Infusion System gives each shade its super-creamy texture, rich payout and superior color dispersion.
Now it's time to rock out and create an amazing look for the holidays. Dominican makeup artist, Noris Hiciano from Glam MakeUp, created a dazzling look inspired in all the glitter and lights. "For the Cotton Candy Glitter Bomb Makeup Tutorial, I was inspired in Fun Fairs," said the makeup expert. "I remember when I was a child and used to get lost in the lights and get excited with the cotton candy. The glittery Urban Decay Holiday Collection also bring memories of my childhood at my grandma's house. My sister and I used to spend every Christmas at her home and playing with her glittery carousel under the tree."
