"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" will be released in theaters in less than two weeks, but if you can't wait until Dec. 14, you can feast on the trailers that are now released of "Hobbit Week" on the Colbert Report.

"Hobbit Week" starts on Dec. 3 and will exclusively feature interviews with actors who appear in the film.

Colbert said he visited the Hobbit film shoot in New Zealand?

"Peter Jackson invited me to the set last year," he said in an interview. "I flew out and watched them shoot some scenes and went to some locations. I saw a 25-minute cut, and it was amazing. Jackson knows I'm a big fan of the films."

Colbert was asked if he was hired as an extra in the movie, but neither confirmed or denied the allegations.

TV trailers have been released and according to The Examiner, "fans will only get a glimpse of the dragon, but do not yet get to hear his voice. However, when they do finally hear the dragon speak, it will be the voice of English actor, Benedict Cumberbatch. Most people know of Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes from the Sherlock series on TV, but in The Hobbit, he will actually voice two very important roles in the story. He plays both Smaug, the dragon and the Necromancer, otherwise known to fans as Sauron."

In a seven-minute long video, a fan made a compilation of the movie's trailers and tv spots. Check it out below:
