Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s relationship is back in the limelight, with their relationship getting sweeter as time passes by. Rumors about the two “The Voice” co-stars arise as their four-year anniversary comes steadily approaching. The American country singer addresses a big rumor going around about him and his girlfriend and has something excessively sweet to say about his beloved Stefani.
Shelton and Stefani went public about their relationship in 2015, marking their four-year anniversary as an official couple this coming November. As this momentous event in their life approaches, rumors of a wedding have sprung about, inadvertently giving the country singer a bit of a laugh.
“First of all, the rumors stuff, I’m not gonna sit here and say that it makes me mad,” Shelton said in an interview. “It’s funny. I’ve learned over the years just to take that for what it is.”
“If I am somehow, and Gwen is somehow newsworthy enough that they have to make up stories about us just to have something to say, then I guess that’s a good problem to have,” he added. “You know, I gotta say that we couldn’t be happier, and we’ve never been doing better.”
With the recent departure of singer and “The Voice” co-judge Adam Levine, Shelton comments that he’ll definitely miss the guy. With Levine leaving the show, Stefani will make a comeback as one of the show’s coaches, pitting her against her partner. Shelton, however, quips that Stefani’s replacing the Maroon 5 singer will be a sight for sore eyes.
“We’re all going to miss out Adam,” he said. “There’s no way around it. But she’s way better looking than he is, in my opinion.”
Shelton reveals that he enjoys how hyped and “competitive” Stefani has become for the upcoming season, with the two in competition to win the show. He hints that he’s happy that they’re working together again, saying that he enjoys attaching himself to her with whatever she’s doing.
“Even when I have a day off and she’s working, I go with her to whatever she’s doing,” Shelton revealed. “I never get enough of her.”
