The new year has started off with an unexpected twist as bitter ex-partners Elizabeth Gutiérrez and William Levy appeared to have reconciled after a highly publicized separation.
Their split had been marred by allegations of domestic disputes, infidelity rumors, and police interventions at their family home. However, the actors seemingly set their differences aside to bid farewell to 2024 together with their children.
The reunion was hinted at by their youngest daughter, Kailey, who shared separate photos with each parent on Instagram.
While the two stars did not pose together in any of the images, Kailey's outfit—a form-fitting black dress—suggested the family celebrated New Year's Eve as a unit. She wore the same dress in pictures with both her mom and dad.
"New year, new beginnings," Kailey captioned her post, fueling speculation about a possible reconciliation. Fans were quick to comment, with some expressing disbelief and others celebrating the family's apparent unity.
"It's beautiful to see the family together," one follower wrote. "I can't believe they're back after so much drama," added another.
Where is Christopher Levy?
Notably absent from Kailey's Instagram photos was her older brother, Christopher Levy. However, clues suggest he also attended the gathering. His girlfriend, model Ivy Puente, appeared in a group picture with Kailey and other friends.
As of now, neither Levy nor Gutiérrez has addressed the reconciliation rumors.
Details of the split
The couple had publicly announced that they had separated in March 2024, sparking widespread interest. Initially described as amicable, their separation later took a darker turn when disturbing reports emerged.
According to Univision's 'El Gordo y La Flaca,' Florida police intervened in at least four domestic incidents involving the pair. One confrontation reportedly occurred when Gutiérrez and Kailey allegedly found Levy with another woman in their home.
The incident led to harsh criticism of the Cuban actor. Though Levy remained silent at first, he eventually spoke out.
"It's sad. First of all, even if I had been with someone else, it was my right. We had already been separated for four months," he stated.
