Héctor Arredondo has lost his battle with cancer and has died. The 44-year-old actor suffered from pancreatic cancer and passed away this morning according to "Ventaneando" host Atala Sarmiento. "It saddens me to find out of the death of Héctor Arredondo. My condolences to his family and friends," the talk show host wrote on Twitter. As of yet, no official statement has been made from his family. The "Las Bravo" actor had been diagnosed with cancer and the news was made public only a couple weeks ago. It was revealed that Arredondo did not want to proceed with a treatment. "Guys, I have been completely absent, concentrated for a lot of reasons on my health, but I want to thank everyone from my heart for all of your support," reads one of his last tweets, after the news was revealed.
"Your words and prayers and proposals, including possible solutions," he continued. "It is a difficult road, but my will and soul are committed to continue moving forward and to take it as a great learning experience as we leave it behind. Really, thanks to everyone." Arredondo did not post to the social network ever since. He can be currently seen on "Las Bravo" opposite Edith Gonzalez, Saúl Lisazo and Mauricio Islas. The Azteca melodrama had been in production for the better part of the year and concluded earlier this year with episodes still airing in México. Other telenovela work includes credits in "Secretos De Familia," a Mexican version of "Brothers & Sisters," "Pobre Diabla," "Mientras Haya Vida," "Los Plateados," "Mirada De Mujer, El Regreso" and "Lo Que Es El Amor."
