Halloween Specials On TV Schedule 2013: When And Where To Watch Holiday Episodes

Halloween is almost upon us, but if you're like me and unwillingly to attend another costume party where every one of your friends is dressed as a sexy something or other you'll be at home, eating candy on the couch. So allow me to be your Halloween guide for the evening, as we embark upon a quality mix of Halloween-themed episodes of our favorite shows, (cough, "Vampire Diaries", cough) and scare yourself into not sleeping without the light night for the next six months! So what is on the docket for Halloween night, well we certainly answering the door for all of those noisy trick or treaters out there, so hunker down with your family sized bag of Reese's and enjoy the splendor of Halloween TV! So to begin your own personal fright feast on October 31, turn your television on, lower the lights, and settle in because there are a ton of spooky specials and movies to terrify you till the end of All Hallows Eve!

• "The Addams Family" on ABC Family- "Morticia and Gomez welcome the return of Uncle Fester in this adaptation of the cartoons and TV series."
• "The Descent: Part 2" on LOGO-" The traumatized lone survivor of a spelunking trip gone wrong is forced to return to the cave to help a rescue team discover the whereabouts of her missing friends, who fell victim to deadly underground creatures."

• "SNL Halloween" on NBC- Edward Norton hosts the Halloween themed episode, best skit on the spooky special is a fake trailer for a Wes Anderson horror film.
• "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" on ABC- The comic strip inspired cartoon while be returning to our screens, Charlie, Linus Snoopy and Sally are back in the pumpkin patch!
• "The Vampire Diaries" on CW- In the Halloween themed episode "Monster's Ball," "Elena meets a sad and secretive student on campus. Later, Elena and Damon attend the Whitmore Historical Ball dressed as Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII. While there, Elena receives a disturbing message from Dr. Maxfield. Meanwhile, Nadia reveals her surprising history to Katherine; and Silas demands that Damon commit an unthinkable act."
