Hailey Baldwin Is Reportedly Trying Her Best To Not Let Selena Gomez Affect Her

Can two exes be on good terms? Well, Hailey Baldwin thinks so. Or at least, going by her actions, it can be safe to say that she harbors no hard feelings against Bieber’s special ex—Selena Gomez. Despite everything that happened in the past year.

Things took an untoward turn when Bieber married Baldwin barely six months after his (final) break-up to Gomez. While a volley of fans speculate that the current marriage that Bieber is in, is actually a rebound, Baldwin seems unperturbed—and secure— about her relationship with Bieber. This could also be because Bieber had come out in the open and declared how his wife is the best thing to have happened to him despite Gomez holding a special place in his heart.

There’s even proof that Baldwin, at one point in time, was a Selenator. Here’s taking a look at some of Baldwin’s old tweets from 2011- 2013. “Selena Gomez is so cute. Don't argue. Bye,” said Baldwin in one of her October 2011 tweets. That’s not all. In January 2012, Baldwin took to the site and tweeted yet again, “Selena Gomez is so friggin good looking.”

Fans assume that Baldwin is a changed woman today, given how the equations have changed (between Selena and her, now that she’s married to Gomez’s ex-boyfriend). But, Baldwin has quelled the speculations time and again – by liking a few of Gomez’s posts on Instagram. Long story short: there is NO cold blood between the two. Or at least, from Baldwin’s end.

Indeed, there could be a great deal of awkwardness for Baldwin and it would certainly hurt to know that Bieber still holds Gomez in high regard. Bieber might have had a past, but Baldwin clearly has nothing to worry—at least not at present, as far as her marriage to Bieber is concerned. She also seems to be okay with Gomez’s low-key shade on Bieber through her recent track, “Lose You To Love Me”

On the other hand, Gomez is living her best life and her career is shaping up just the way she likes it. With two back to back blockbuster tracks and great mental health, Gomez is out to show the world what she’s got. We wonder if Bieber is listening…
