Gwyneth Paltrow And Norway's Princess Martha Louise Are New BFFs

Actress and wellness advocate Gwyneth Paltrow seems to have made a new royal friend — Princess Martha Louise of Norway.

Gwyneth and Princess Martha Louise ran into each other at the Hamptons, which is a Long Island enclave where many affluent New York City residents flock for the summer. It's the perfect setting for star-studded encounters.

Then again, Princess Martha Louise and Gwyneth's friendship is far from accidental. It certainly doesn't hurt that the princess happens to be dating Los Angeles based spiritual guide and gifted healer Shaman Durek (real name Derek Verrett), who happens to be Gwyneth's spiritual guide.

Durek thinks that Gwyneth is "a true visionary." He also believes that Gwyneth's “conscious uncoupling” from Coldplay singer Chris Martin was decreed by the universe. He thinks that it paved the way for the creation of Goop.

Princess Martha Louise was very lavish with her praise for Gwyneth. In an Instagram post, she cited the actress' "wisdom, strength and clear vision." More importantly, she was hopeful that they would see each other again in the near future.

Both Gwyneth and Princess Martha Louise are staunch advocates of natural health and wellness programs and interventions. The actress, in particular, has a highly popular website called Goop.

Through it, she has promoted a wide range of products and treatments such as goat milk cleanse, colon cleansing and vagina steaming. Gwyneth also promoted the use of "jade eggs" to supposedly help rejuvenate vaginal muscles, as well as "healing stickers," which cost a whopping $120 per pack.

Princess Martha Louise, who is the eldest child of Norway's His Majesty King Harald and Her Majesty Queen Sonja, shares Gwyneth's beliefs. In fact, the 47-year-old royal said that she has psychic powers and that she can can teach people to communicate with angels.

The princess certainly defied convention when she started dating Gwyneth's spiritual guru. In one of her Instagram posts, the royal gushed over her sweetheart. "He has made me realize that unconditional love actually exists here on this planet," she wrote.

"He embraces all of me without question or fear. He makes me laugh more than anyone, has the most profound wisdom to share and all the bits in between from the diversity of his being," she added.

She went on to share her happiness for her found love. "I feel so happy and blessed that he is my boyfriend," she said. "Thank you, my love, for including me so generously into your family. I love you from this eternity to the next."
