Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are reportedly coming to terms with the fact that they will never have a baby together. A tabloid reported earlier this week that Stefani is upset by the thought that she will not be able to give Shelton a child, considering her age.

Over the recent months, several tabloids have reported that Stefani and Shelton were having a baby. In a more recent report, however, it was claimed that the famous couple from “The Voice” knows that they won’t be having a baby anymore, and they’re having a hard time accepting it.

Stefani and Shelton have been together for nearly four years now. Despite their age, their fans are still hopeful that they will tie the knot one day and have a child of their own. According to the recent tabloid report, however, Stefani and Shelton have always known that they would not have their own bundle of joy.

A source allegedly told the tabloid that Stefani has been wondering lately if she could really make Shelton happy in the future, considering her situation. “She looks at her future with Blake and wonders if, over the long haul, he’ll be happy without ever having a child of his own,” the source allegedly said. “Gwen knows that at her age, having another baby just isn’t in the cards.”

The source also claimed that Stefani once considered exploring IVF treatments after being inspired by Janet Jackson’s pregnancy at 51. However, she allegedly realized that she’s not capable of subjecting herself to such treatments anymore.

“Gwen could see the possibilities,” said the unnamed source. “But she just didn’t think she could put her body through IVF at her age, so the clock just ran out.” The singer reportedly tried to get pregnant without seeking help from any doctor, but all her efforts were to no avail.

“She tried to get pregnant without a doctor’s help, but sadly, it just wasn’t happening for her,” said the suspicious tipster. “The window’s closed now, and that’s OK.”

As for Shelton, the tabloid went on to claim that the male singer is trying to ease into the role of a father with Stefani’s children. Despite Stefani’s worries about their future, Shelton is reportedly sticking with her.

“Blake loves Gwen with all his heart,” the source said. “He’s had two failed marriages and is dedicated to making this relationship work,” he added.

While it’s true that Shelton and Stefani have plans of tying the knot, it’s not true that the possibility of not having a child is an issue for them. Shelton and Stefani both have children from their respective former spouses, and while Shelton would love to have a baby with Stefani, he is very much content with being a stepdad to Stefani’s boys.

Gossip Cop also lambasted the tabloid for its previous reports about the couple. According to the publication, the tabloid had already made several false claims about Stefani’s pregnancy, propagating rumors to capitalize on the couple’s popularity.
