GTA V PC Release Date: Amazon Release Rumor Proved False

GTA V PC release rumors were driven into a frenzy after reports emerged that Amazon would be announcing the release of the game on Christmas Eve. However, the day has come and gone and Amazon has stayed quiet on the matter. The story erupted after an online German customer support member disclosed the following "according to our informations, GTA V PC will be announced on 12/24 and according to our source, it will be released in the USA on 03/12 and here on 03/14."

However, no announcement has been made by either Amazon or Rockstar, so unfortunately fans of the game will have to keep waiting for more news on the highly anticipated game. The March release date, however, does seem to fit with previous rumors which indicate a first quarter release date for the PC version Grand Theft Auto. So while the anticipated Christmase Eve announcment proved to be false, we might be able to hold some stock to the March release dates.

GTA V PC imminent release was corroburrated by Rockstar Support's Twitter feed which changed its tune slightly, urging fans to keep an eye on their news feed. An announcement early in January seems very likely.
