Rockstar Games has confirmed that the world premiere of "Grand Theft Auto Online" will see the light of day Thursday August 15. In just three daysm, Rockstar will unveil gameplay footage for GTA Online.

Rockstar released a teaser pic of the upcoming gameplay on their website and Twitter. Check out the pic and tweet below. Along with the video information for the upcoming multiplayer component of "Grand Theft Auto V" will also be revealed.
"GTA 5" o'clock presenters Tim Weaver and Dan Dawkins recently traveled to Rockstar North to see GTA Online in action their in-depth analysis of what the online game has to offer in a special video show on Thursday, August 15.

As of now we don't have much on GTA Online other than the few seconds at the end of gameplay footage, which you could also check out after the jump.
Rockstar has confirmed a U.S. and European "Grand Theft Auto V" release date of September 17 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game will also launch in Japan October 10.

Other platforms for the GTA V are also being considered, said Rockstar in November. Speculations are also floating around that the new GTA game is also intended for release for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
