Speculation around the "GTA 5" 1.18 update has suddenly gone cold as all attention has been redirected towards the imminent release of the next-gen "GTA 5" title for PS4 and Xbox One. As if you don't already know, the "GTA 5" release date for PS4 and Xbox One is Nov. 18. With barely a week remaining, Rockstar Games just released an awesome trailer showcasing the vivid graphics during gameplay on the PS4.
Last month, we reported that the new "GTA 5" will seize every drop of processing power found in the new next-gen consoles. First, animal textures, foliage and even the water rendering system are completely redesigned. Rockstar Games will make sure that every rivers, ocean, and even a drop of rain will look extraordinary. Puddles on the street will pool up during heavy rainfall. Next, Rockstar successfully rendered the texture of tree barks, and will even distinguish every individual blades of grass. Gamers will literally stop to smell the roses to appreciate the new graphics modelling. Character models have also been improved to match the newfound definition of the environment.
You don't have to stare too closely to find the improvements on the next-gen title. In fact, take a step back and you'll realize that the new draw distance found in the next-generation "GTA 5" is simply astonishing. The main city is rendered all the way to the horizon. At night, the size and density of the city will be even more impactful as the lights at night will show traffic flow from massive distances.
Finally, let's get to the important bits like actual gameplay. The elephant in the room is the long-awaited "GTA 5" Heists update, but we're no closer to determining exactly when the DLC will arrive. Past speculation suggested that the "GTA 5" Heists Update release date would coincide with the arrival of the next-gen title. Other updates expected for "GTA 5" next-gen include a Zombie DLC. In an earlier next-gen "GTA 5" teaser video, a quick frame did reveal that the undead will take over the streets of Los Santos.
There's a lot of anticipation ahead of the "GTA 5" release date for PS4 and Xbox One. "GTA 5" tipsters and Youtubers DomisLive and iCrazyTeddy have both released new videos that feature scene-by-scene commentary that break down the easter eggs that they found in the latest "GTA 5" trailer.
