'GTA 5' PC Release Date Delayed To March 24: Heists DLC Update To Arrive In 'Coming Weeks'

Rockstar Games has announced that the "GTA 5" PC release date is delayed. According to the latest statement from the official GTA website, the "GTA 5" PC version will be pushed back two months. The new release date is March 24.

"Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be," reads the statement by Rockstar Games. "Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests ofthe game and our fans.

"Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March."

The press release from Rockstar also hinted at a slightly less vague "GTA 5" Heists update release date. GTA Online Heists will apparently be included with the "GTA 5" PC version. Rockstar announced that Heists will launch in consoles in "the coming weeks" ahead of the PC release.

Finally, Rockstar Games revealed the minimum system requirements in order to run "GTA 5" on PC. Before we share the complete rundown, Rockstar confirmed that "GTA 5" will be capable of running 1080p at 60fps and even up to 4K resolution on PC. "GTA 5" for PC will also introduce "Rockstar Editor," which give players an extensive set of editing tools to create custom gameplay.
