The "Grand Theft Auto V" companion app, "Grand Theft Auto iFruit," has finally hit the Android market and is available for download via the Google Play Store. The app was first announced a few weeks ago but only for iOS devices at that point. If you don't know what the "Grand Theft Auto: iFruit" app is, then we will break it down for you. It is a companion app that offers an outside platform to help further enjoy your "GTA V" experience. The "GTA: iFruit" app keeps gamers up-to-date on the latest "Grand Theft Auto V" news, log into the Rockstar Games Social Club, stay connected on LifeInvader and launch other Rockstar Games apps.

In addition to all the "GTA" info pushed to the app there are also two interactive features in the "GTA: iFruit" app. The first is it allows you to create your ultimate vehicle in the game; from paint jobs, window tints, smoke colors, wheels, hoods and spoilers. Players will be able to manufacture the car o fyour dreams then place an order. The next time you play "GTA 5," you'll find your customized car waiting for you in your garage. The app also allows gamers to create custom license plates for use in both "GTA V" and "Grand Theft Auto Online."

The iFruit app also includes an interactive Chop the dog feature. The "Tamagotchi" style gameplay allows gamers to look after Chop (Franklin's friend's dog). You will be able to pet and feed him, as well as play games and teach him tricks, which will help you unlock rewards in "GTA V." Keeping Chop positive will result in him being more responsive in the main game and he will also be able to sniff out hidden items on walks.
