'GTA 5' 1.16 Update Release Date Is August 12: Gang House DLC Leaked? [REPORT]

How much longer do we have to wait for the latest "GTA 5" DLC update? Not that long, apparently! According to reports from IBTimes UK, the "GTA 5" 1.16 update is slated to arrive Tuesday, Aug. 12. Based on the last couple of releases, Tuesday has been the DLC release date of choice for Rockster.

The "GTA 5" 1.16 DLC release date rumor was first reported by fresh game code that was leaked on the Developer Market Place. According to "GTA 5" leaker and YouTuber TypicalGamer, the new code is only titled "DLC Pack." Apparently, Rockstar is making efforts to be discrete and avoid a DLC title name just yet, as leakers have broke "I'm Not A Hipster" and the "Independence Day Special" way ahead of its release.

Given the limited information we have regarding the new DLC, how do we know that the "GTA 5" 1.16 update release date is Aug. 12? According to leakers, the new code is dated 1999, which is obviously fake. That said, Rockstar consistently updates game codes one week ahead of an official DLC release. August 12 is the next closest Tuesday and is the most likely date for the latest release.

We have a really good idea of when the next "GTA 5" DLC will be released, but will we know what the new update will deliver? This is a more difficult question to answer as reports have leaked several update rumors, including Casino DLC, Zombies DLC, Veterans DLC, and Flight School DLC. Now, YouTuber iCrazyTeddy has revealed brand-new details of an upcoming "GTA 5" Gang House DLC.

According to iCrazyTeddy's YouTube video, a secret garage attached to Gentry Manor hotel was recently discovered by leakers, suggesting that "GTA 5" is expanding its map for an upcoming DLC. As the video shows, the secret garage is a part of a huge mansion and is flanked by two enormous structures. iCrazyTeddy claims that it is somewhat plausable that the new garage will be a part of a new Gang House DLC that ties into a special "Witness to Court" Cops 'n' Crooks mission that involves a new Gang House.

Here is the excerpt of the description for the leaked CnC mission -- "Witness to Court":

"Cops escort an AI witness from their safehouse ( 4 possible locations) to court, crooks attempt to kill the witness, Cops drive the A.I. ped around," read a description of the Cops 'n' Crooks mission. "The A.I. ped will join both the cop and criminal groups. Criminals can take the A.I. witness to the gang house for extra xp."
