Our favorite internet cat, Tardar Sauce, also known as “Grumpy Cat” has landed herself an acting job! She’s starring along Buzz the Bee in the new Honey Nut Cheerios commercial. Grumpy Cat became an internet sensation back in 2012, when her owner’s brother published her picture on Reddit, and later became one of the most popular memes. She became such a celebrity because her face appeared to be grumpy. This condition is actually caused because of feline dwarfism and an under bite, according to her owner.
Although we see her in her full glory next to Cheerio’s famous bee in this hilarious new commercial, Grumpy Cat is usually a pretty normal cat. Her photo sessions are only scheduled for once a week, and her owner doesn’t let strangers handle her unless it’s strictly necessary. Although she’s been on many shows like Today, Good Morning America, Anderson Live, The Soup and even American Idol, Grumpy Cat has a time limit per appearance. We’re not sure how long she spent filming this new ad, but what we do know is that she totally nailed it!
