Grimes criticized ex-partner Elon Musk for bringing their 4-year-old son to a White House event with Donald Trump, saying, "He should not be in public like this."

On February 13, Musk attended an Oval Office press event alongside Trump, where the former president signed an executive order expanding the power of Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). During the event, their son X Æ A-Xii (pronounced as X Ash A 12) was seen mimicking his father, whispering to Trump, and picking his nose.

Grimes, responding to a social media post about the event, expressed frustration, stating she had not been aware her son would be present.

"He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh," Grimes wrote on X.

Musk and Grimes, who share three children, have had a contentious co-parenting relationship, with Grimes previously expressing concerns about their son's public exposure, the Independent reported.

Musk has a history of bringing their child, known as "Lil X," to political events, including Trump's inauguration and a campaign rally.

The incident reignited public scrutiny over Musk's relationship with Trump and his growing influence in government. Grimes has continued to voice concerns online, while Musk has dismissed criticism, emphasizing his belief in involving his children in major events.
