Grey's Anatomy
How will Sandra Oh exit Grey's? And who will get new love interest? ABC/Grey's Anatomy

Now that all the serious drama has come and gone (but certainly not gone for too long) from the one-hour season premiere of "Grey's Anatomy" it looks like the show is going to take a different turn and focus on a happier plotline. Shonda Rhimes and some of the cast members have dished about new romances in the show, an upcoming wedding, the return of Ben (Jason George) and the biggest news of the season Cristina Yang's (Sandra Oh) exit from the show. Let's start with the wedding.

Many people knew a wedding would take place in season 10 of Grey's but no one knew whose it would be but now with a few turn of events such as April being told off by Jackson, which in turn leads her to accept Matthew's proposal we can only assume she is the lucky candidate. In an interview with TV Guide, Sarah Drew, who plays April, confirmed that they are filming episode seven and April is wedding planning. Shonda Rhimes also teased that cast veterans: Callie, Arizona, Cristina and Owen may be getting new love interests of their own.

Fans are already freaking out about the ex-couples falling for new peoples and Rhimes completely understands saying in an interview, "I totally understand that because I freaked out a little bit too, but I think it's going to be good." It seems Bailey will have a romantic storyline as well now that Ben Warren is making his way back to Seattle. Hypable reports all seems well, but the long distance relationship may be putting strain on the relationship says George in an interview. "It's always good news for Bailey and Ben when Ben makes it up to Seattle, but it's a long distance relationship and that wears and tears on everybody."

Since the announcement of Sandra Oh's character, Cristina Yang, exit from the show many fans have pondered and guessed how she will leave. After being such an intergral part of the medical drama it's only fitting that she have a big exit and Rhimes already knows how she will leave, but doesn't want to discuss it. Rhimes wants the focus of the show to first celebrate the character saying, "It's the back half of the season, so we have 22 episodes to really enjoy Cristina and love her, so we're just going to enjoy ourselves doing what we're doing now."
