Kuno Becker is best known for being one of the studs of telenovelas, including the ever-so 1998 classic "Soñadoras." Since his first TV gig in 1996, the Mexican actor never quite stopped starring in many productions. One of his most recent projects is alongside Danny Trejo in the action/comedy film "The Green Ghost," a movie about an American who was raised by a group of Mexican warriors and is trying to save the world from the Aztec Apocalypse.
In the flick, directed by Michael Olmos (son of Edward Olmos), Becker portrays Marco. "It's really funny. I'm part of a group of guys who want to save the world and have super powers," he told TVNotas of his character. "We're good at fighting and shooting lasers," he added, stating that the plot of the movie is very crazy.
The 37-year-old actor, who lived in Texas while the movie was filmed, spoke highly of working with Mr. Trejo. "He's a fun guy, I learned a lot from him," he said of Trejo, who portrays Master Gin in the comedy flick.
According to Becker, "The Green Ghost" has yet to announce a release date, but he emphasized that it's worth checking out. "It's a very special film genre," he said. "I haven't had the opportunity of doing an action/comedy before." Becker then added: "It's fantastic, with many visual effects. It's going to be lots of fun."
