Telemundo is beefing up its reality show offerings and bringing to Hispanic audiences their Latino version of "Big Brother." The social experiment pits complete strangers from all walks of life into a house with no connection to the outside world for 13 weeks. In the house, they will be observed by "Gran Hermano" 24 hours a day and put to the test in challenges that will take them to their limits. Psychology is a major factor in this game and only the strongest players will make it to the end. U.S. audiences have been enjoying a format variation of this program on the CBS network every summer, but now we Latinos will be able to enjoy a whole new version of it.
The Spanish-language network has begun airing its first teaser promoting the show that will air in January 2016. Facts flash on the screen like: 4000 people have participated worldwide, 360 different editions and aired 17 years continuously on-air in 7 continents and 120 countries. If you are a BB fan like us, you will notice that the blurry images of other versions that are shown during the promo are from the "Big Brother Canada" contestants. We are still wondering what the format for the show will be and who will be the host. The presenter is expected to be announced during Monday's episode of "Un Nuevo Día" and more details are to be followed. Watch the promo down below and tell us what you think!
