The Golden State Warriors take on the Philadelphia 76ers tonight, and the 3-0 Sixers are hot on a surprising win streak. The Warriors will come to Wells Fargo Arena, and based on past performances and the 76ers still unbeaten record, they certainly have some ground to make up. Head to head, the Warriors are 1-4 in their last 5 meetings against the 76ers. So while in pre-season stats the Golden State Warriors may have had a chance of getting a win tonight, following the Philadelphia's 76ers unbelievable opening their chances are looking slimmer.

The young Philly squad has surprised the NBA with impressive victories over the reigning champion Miami Heat in their season opener and then against the Chicago Bulls in their last outing. The standout play on the 76ers has come from the rookie Michael Carter-Williams with an average of 20.7 pts., 4.7 rebounds, and 9 assists for the 2013 NBA season. Despite the season only being 3 games in, for a team that was most certainly counted as an underdog, is getting a lot of positive attention on the court.

But despite the Philadelphia 76ers hot start; the Golden State Warriors have had a strong start to the season, winning two of their three games. The Warriors fell to the Clippers in their only road game, 126-115. Tonight's game will be a serious test for the team on the road who has been nearly unstoppable at home defeating both Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings by an average of 21 points.
