"Glee" has a new baby! Heather Morris, who played the lovable Brittany S. Pierce on the musical show gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Saturday, Sept 28 with longtime boyfriend Taylor Hubbell. This is Heather and Taylor's first child after being together for many years. The two are high school sweethearts, and Heather has always expressed her desire to start a family with him. "I want to marry him so bad," she told Fitness magazine in 2011. "That's what I really care about. I want to marry Taylor and have kids with him. I love acting, but if it affects my relationship, then I won't continue doing it."

Heather's pregnancy was revealed in April 2013 when her bump started to show. "It was totally unexpected, but they are incredibly happy and excited," a source close to the couple told Us Weekly at the time. Another source told the same magazine that Heather seemed to enjoy pregnancy. "Heather is glowing! She is so happy. She is really excited to be a mom," a second source said of the actress, who will not return for "Glee"'s fifth season. "She is just amazed by the whole experience."

Her close friends, family and co-stars also seem to be very excited for Heather, and think she's going to be a wonderful mother. "Oh, she's going to be an amazing mother," Heather's Glee co-star Jessalyn Gilsig told PopSugar after learning the news of the pregnancy. "She's a fantastic, fantastic woman. That's a lucky baby." Her former on-screen girlfriend and real life bestie, Naya Rivera, took her excitement to social media and shared a photo of cute cupcakes on her Instagram feed when she was on her way to Heather's baby shower back in early July. "Heading to a special baby shower," she captioned the pic.

The couple named their first born Elijah.
