Thursday Fox's "Glee" star Becca Tobin's boyfriend, Matt Bendik, was found dead in his Philadelphis hotel room. As of now the circumstances surrounding his death are still unknown according to TMZ. The site also reports a hotel maid found Bendik's body on Thursday afternoon. The Philadelphia Medical Examiner did confirm that Bendik's body was found, but offered no additional details. It's unclear at this point where Becca was when the body was found.
Sources close to Tobin and Bendik, a 35-year-old nightclub owner, revealed that he was in Philadelphia on a business trip and Becca accompanied him. The source also revealed that the couple had been out on the town celebrating with friends Wednesday night and everything seemed normal. Friends say Bendik was not a partier and are shocked and devestated by his sudden death.
According to the report by TMZ Law enfrocement sources revealed no drugs or drug paraphernalia were found in Bendik's hotel room. They also say no alcohol or medication were in the room either. And the report says no weapons of any kind were found, and no injuries to his body.
Bendik was a managing partner of AV and Voyeur/DBA nightclubs in Los Angeles, Calif. and also acted as director of nightlife for Addiction nightclub at The Modern Honolulu.
