Ninel Conde finally agreed to talk about her boyfriend Giovanni Medina’s fraud scandal earlier this week.
During an interview with TV Azteca’s “Ventaneando,” “El Bombón Asesino” opened up about her partner’s current situation, and even though she did not deny the separation rumors one hundred percent, she admitted everything was “normal.”
“Honestly, this subject is unknown to me,” she confessed. “I don’t have lot to say about it, nothing actually. This is a situation that is none of my business. It doesn’t involve me directly. I think that when the time comes, Giovanni will share his comments about the situation.”
She continued, “And well, it’s something that does affect me because we were very at ease but oh well, this is how it goes in this business and you know I’m always here to face things. Everything is calm, everything is normal, and I would love to tell you everything about the situation, el chisme, but I can’t. It’s not something for me to tell.”
Medina, who is the father of the singer’s son, Emmanuel Medina, is being accused of disappearing with money that was given to him to invest in a restaurant. According to the investor, Medina never closed the deal and the amount was never returned to him.
Recent reports disclosed the accuser has already asked the judge to issue an arrest warrant against Medina.
“He is the father of my son and he knows he can count on me,” Conde told reporters. “But I really can’t do anything, I can’t make any public declarations on the subject.”
This is not the first time the 39-year-old performer had to deal with a criminal partner. In 2015, Conde finally put an end to her court battle with ex-husband Juan Zepeda, who was charged with copyright infractions, fraud and stealing from his then wife.
