George Zimmerman will not be facing the domestic abuse charges filed by his ex-girlfriend. According to the Orlando Sentinel, State Attorney Phil Archer announced that Zimmerman would not be facing charges. Zimmerman's ex-girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, signed and affidabit recanting the allegations she made which led to Zimmerman's arrest. Zimmerman was arrested on November 18 at their home but was not formally charged.

George Zimmerman's ex, Samantha Scheibe, wrote the following in her affidavit: "I do not want George Zimmerman charged. I make this decision freely, knowingly and voluntarily, without any intimidation, coercion or undue influences," Scheibe said in her affidavit. "George never pointed a gun at or toward my face in a threatening manner," the statement continued. Charges of aggravated assault, battery and criminal mischief have been dropped.

George Zimmerman is notoriously known for shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26, 2012 in Sanford, Fla. while on a neighborhood watch.
