George Clooney was spotted riding a donkey through the streets of Madrid, Spain recently. The Hollywood star was doing it for an ad he was filming for Nespresso, the coffee company that the actor has been a spokesman for since 2006.
Pictures of Clooney riding the donkey surfaced on TMZ. He was joined by “Captain Marvel” star Brie Larson, who got to ride a white horse for the Nespresso advertisement.
Clooney wore a suit and formal shoes while riding the white donkey. He finished the look with a pair of dark sunglasses.
There was a funny moment on the set while filming the ad when a chicken ran into the shot right next to Clooney. One of the pictures that has surfaced online shows the actor observing the chicken.
Previously, Clooney was joined by other Hollywood stars like Matt Damon, John Malkovich, Natalie Dormer and Danny DeVito for the Nespresso advertisements. The ads are usually funny and self-deprecating for Clooney. It remains to be seen what this new campaign with Larson and the donkey will be about.
Clooney’s involvement in the Nespresso advertisement is reportedly a part of a $40 million deal the actor signed with the company. The coffee company is a part of the Nestlé group, and its products are sold in over 70 countries.
Another noticeable change in the new advertisement will be Clooney’s long beard. The actor revealed the new look in London last week, where he was at a news conference to ask US and Europe to do something about the corruption problem in South Sudan, Page Six reported.
Clooney’s new look has been noticed by the fans. According to E! News, people feel that the actor is getting better with age, and his new look makes him the most handsome silver fox in Hollywood. The actor is already popular for his silver hair, and he has now added the silver beard that “solidifies” his position.
