Gente De Zona have become a household name after dropping contagious hits such as "Bailando" with Enrique Iglesias, Descemer Bueno, "La Gozadera" with Marc Anthony and "Piensas" with Pitbull. All these summer hits have made the Cuban duo a favorite Latin act in many countries across the world, gaining a large following. But nothing, and I mean, NOTHING, beats their fans back home.
During their busy schedule, the duo, composed by Alex Delgado and Randy Malcolm, went back home early this week to deliver a concert in Havana. Little did they know, however, that their presentation (which included a guest appearance by Descemer Bueno) would mark one for the books. The duo, who gave a magical and unforgettable show at El Malecon, was surprised with the over 300 thousand people in attendance according to Cuban authorities.
The main street of the Malecón was closed to traffic for over six hours, and the crowd area length extended approximately two miles from the stage.
Following their historic night in the island, Gente de Zona is now gearing up to join Marc Anthony on tour where they'll visit Miami, Texas, Mexico, and well as other markets throughout the United States and Latin America.
