In the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine US, Studio Head Rod Fergusson who previously worked on the "Gears of War" trilogy and "Bioshock Infinity" talked "Gears of War 4's" development.
Fergusson revealed that one of the development team's target is to give fans the essence of previous "Gears of War" titles, while still adding fresh elements to the franchise. Concerning the graphics of the title, the Studio Head gave fans an insight to the game's framerate:
"Delivering [with Ultimate Edition] the first 60fps multiplayer experience in franchise history really taught us a lot about what it means to have a 60fps culture on the team and we’re leveraging that experience for Gears of War 4."
Furthermore, with the results from "Halo 5: Guardians" on Xbox One, Fergusson expressed his intention to show the best graphics possible for the Microsoft's console:
"Like how the original Gears of War was a visual showcase for the Xbox 360, Gears of War 4 will be a graphical showcase for the Xbox One."
No exact release date on the title but "Gears of War 4" will arrive on Xbox One later this year.
