Gabriel Soto and Geraldine Bazán are the happy parents of a baby girl. The couple have added one more member to the family and named her Alexa Miranda Soto-Borja Bazán. The baby was born February 19 at 10:09am in the City of Mexico, Hola reports. Elissa Marie, the couple's first child, has become the older sister of Alexa who weighed in at 3.200 kg and 49.5 in lenght. The magazine reports that both the child and the mother are in perfect health although there was a slight scare in the birthing process.
The umbilical cord was wrapped around Alexa's neck twice, which was dangerous but thanks to Dr. Humberto Reyes, the baby was born in great condition. "The most impressive and beautiful experience is seeing how she entered life with her first breath," Soto shared on Twitter of the birth of Alexa Miranda. Gabriel also shared the first photo of the infant girl grasping on to daddy's finger with the caption, "The most amazing feeling." See the photo above!
Next up for the couple is getting married, although that is not their priority. "For us matrimony is the day by day. Matrimony is the heart. We will be getting married because we believe it is important to solidify our union," the couple told Hola back in November. Bazán was most recently seen in the reality show "La Isla" in México, which is a "Survivor"-type show. Shortly after being cast in the second season she found out she was pregnant, the actress kept firm and strong during the agitating challenges. Soto was last seen starring in "Libre Para Amarte," telenovela where he co-starred with Gloria Trevi. He is currently co-starring with Aracely Arambula in the comedic play "Porque Los Hombres Aman A Las Cabronas" around México. Congratulations to the growing Soto-Borja Bazán family!
