Brooke Rollins was confirmed on Thursday to be Donald Trump's next Agriculture Secretary. Her nomination was supported by 19 Democrats, making her one of the nominees to pass with bipartisan support. Overall, she had 72 favorable votes and 28 negative ones.

This scenario was widely expected, as Rollins was unanimously supported by the Senate Agriculture Committee earlier this month. POLITICO detailed that GOP senators have praised Rollins' close relationship with Trump and her experience as domestic policy chief during his first term.

Democratic senators, in turn, had signaled their willingness to support her after discussing her agriculture policy priorities for the year. She also committed to serving as a voice for agricultural interests at the request of committee members during her confirmation hearing.

"I sincerely believe that if I do my job," the Department of Agriculture will be able to help "bring in new trade partners, to expand access for new trade products and for all, whether it's specialty crops or the row crops or the livestock industry," Rollins said.

These are the Democrats who voted in favor of Rollins' confirmation:

Bennet, Michael

Heinrich, Martin
