Which sister of Rachel Green on “Friends” was your favourite sister? Ours was Jill, played by Reese Witherspoon, the ‘spoiled one’ as Phoebe had put it. But while we had immensely enjoyed Reese’s brief stint on the hit show, apparently the actress wasn’t that thrilled by the experience. Maybe joining a "Friends" reunion episode, everyone's been asking for, would help her forget the bad memories.

On Nov. 1, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon made an appearance on “The Graham Norton Show” to promote their new Apple TV+ series “The Morning Show.” It was a trip down nostalgia lane as both the actresses shared memories from their time working together on “Friends.” It turns out, just like how Jill felt unwelcome by her on-screen sister Rachel Green, Reese felt equally uncomfortable on the set of the show.

Reese confesses that “Friends” was her first and last show where she performed in front of a live audience as she could never get used to performing in front of a live crowd.

"You hadn't acted in front of a live audience before," noted Graham to which Reese replied: "Right, and I never have since."

"It was just terrifying," Reese explained. "Having to always say jokes, and I would always look at Jen and go, 'I'm messing up'."

While the prospect of performing in the presence of a live audience was always daunting for the other actors in the show as well, Reese could never adapt to the high-pressure environment.

The duo was soon subjected to a pop Friends quiz and as expected, they passed without missing any question, especially Witherspoon who answered Sir Ian McKellen's question in a heartbeat. Asked to fill in the line after, “This is about you being a brat wanting what you can’t have.”

“Can’t have? The only thing I can’t have is dairy!” Witherspoon quickly answered, seeing that the dialogue was of her character, Jill, in the show.

Ah, how that makes us wish for a “Friends” reunion and to have Reese Witherspoon in it -- her fresh memories of a show she starred in decades ago is enough reason. And who knows maybe this time she will actually enjoy the live audience. Keeping our fingers crossed!
