Ten years ago today the world was glued to their TV screens as the most iconic 90’s and early 00’s show was about to come to an end. On May 6, 2004, more than 50 million people watched as “Friends” aired a new episode one last time. We said goodbye to 10 years of laughter, joy, existential crisis that we had along with the characters, love stories that finally came true, and unfortunate mistakes by our six favorite people that made us realize the show was growing along with us and situations became more complex, while still being every-day scenarios.
Along with Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey, we will still remember some of the show’s funniest and memorable lines. That’s why we’ve compiled some of them as a little tribute to Friends show finale.
“Welcome to the real world. It sucks. You’re gonna love it!” – Monica
“How long do cats live? Like assuming you don’t throw ‘em under a bus or something?” – Rachel
