It doesn't matter the political party, the new trend seems to be that as long as you're a politician or have some sort of power and influence, you can use it to your advantage and pretend you're better than everyone else.
Although most Latin American countries suffer from that same thing, Mexico is the one getting all the heat after many scandals involving the country's political figures have made international headlines.

We've seen people like Andrea Benítez, closing down restaurants because she didn't like the service, or Luz María Beristain insisting an airline had to open the plane door to let her into the flight. Her brother, Juan Carlos Beristain, also had his 15 minutes of fame when a video of him talking about the fraud he had committed resurfaced on the Internet, and now Francisco Javier Romo García gets his share of online exposure after insulting an officer in what seemed to be a drunken fit.

Romo García, an alderman in Ixtapaluca, Mexico, stopped at a taco place after a night out and it's still unclear why he started his rant against the police officer, who recorded the whole thing.

"No, you're not going to give me orders. I will give you orders. I will give you orders, and you should respect your superiors, motherf****r!" Said the politician.
The unidentified officer told Romo García in a defiant way to speak to him at his trial, and the alderman didn't take that comment lightly. He told the officer to respect him because he was an authority and he needed to "stop with his stupidity."

The police officer replied with a "you too" that Romo García didn't like and he insisted that he should be spoken to with respect. "I am your superior, keep that narrow mentality and you're not going anywhere. You're very stupid, very stupid. You don't know what order and discipline are."
After a minute into the rant, the politician realizes he's being recorded and adds, "You're recording me? You motherf****r!" And then kept insisting that he was to be respected, to which the police officer said, "We'll see."

To end with the scene, after realizing the officer was just provoking the drunken politician, an employee of the taco place where Romo García was, hugs him and takes him inside the restaurant.
Just like "Lady Profeco" (Andrea Benítez) and "Lady Senadora" (Luz María Beristain), Francisco Javier Romo García has earned the nickname and Twitter hashtag "Gentleman de Ixtapaluca"
