In a video shared with her followers on social media, Puerto Rican journalist and TV host Bárbara Bermudo documented a car accident in Miami that, fortunately, she was not involved in, but it left her shaken by how close she came to witnessing a tragedy.

On her Instagram, Bermudo posted footage showing part of the accident scene, describing what she saw and how emergency teams rushed to the scene to prevent what could have been a major disaster.

The incident occurred in Coral Gables, where a vehicle was left precariously hanging from the third floor of a parking garage. According to Bermudo, it was a tree that miraculously prevented the car from plunging to the ground, which would have likely resulted in fatal consequences. Expressing her relief, she wrote, "Alive thanks to a miracle," reflecting on how close she had been to a tragic event.

In the video she shared, rescue teams and Coral Gables police can be seen working quickly to secure the area and prevent further incidents.

Bermudo, best known for her work on Univision's 'Primer Impacto,' showed her journalistic instincts by documenting the situation on social media, keeping her followers updated on the unfolding events. Many of her fans, who remember her years as a journalist, left supportive comments, thanking her for keeping them informed. However, some followers mistakenly thought Bermudo had been injured in the accident, prompting her husband, fellow journalist Mario Andrés Moreno, to clarify:

"Let me explain further: a woman lost control of her car, crashed through the parking garage barrier, and the vehicle was left hanging from the building, with the front of the car resting on a tree that miraculously prevented it from falling. The woman had to be rescued by Coral Gables firefighters, who used a massive crane to secure the car during the rescue. Thankfully, my @barbarabermudo was at the scene when it happened but was not involved in the accident."

The Coral Gables rescue team and police acted quickly and effectively, securing the area and preventing the car from falling, which brought a dramatic event to a safe conclusion. Their swift response was crucial in controlling the situation, and both Bermudo and other witnesses expressed their gratitude for the timely intervention.

Throughout her career, Bermudo has shown great versatility, not only as a journalist but also as an entrepreneur. Since leaving 'Primer Impacto,' she has remained active on social media and in business, managing her clothing brand and other personal projects. However, her passion for reporting remains strong, as she demonstrated by sharing this dramatic incident with her followers.
