Former Porn Star Mia Khalifa Announces Divorce On Social Media

The Lebanese-American adult actress who was Pornhub’s most viewed performance in 2014, has hit headlines once again. The former porn star Mia Khalifa, took to Instagram to announce her divorce. She shared that just after two years of marriage with her husband Robert Sandberg, the couple had decided to part ways.

Instead of having a massive wedding ceremony, Khalifa and Sandberg ended up walking away from each other. The media personality had been married before to a man who often co-starred in her adult movies. They ended their marriage in 2016, the same year when she revealed that her career in the industry had lasted only three months.

In March 2019 the Swedish chef got engaged to Khalifa, Zee News reported. The couple tied the knot in June 2019. They had a quiet ceremony at their home with the hopes of having a big celebration the next year. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple could not have their dream ceremony in June 2020.

On their anniversary in 2021, Khalifa had shared a social media post lamenting their missed celebration. She stated that she hoped someday they could have the ceremony that was long overdue, Republic World reported.

Sadly, within a month of celebrating their second anniversary, Khalifa and Sandberg took to Instagram to announce their separation. Their post elaborated that they had been trying to work on the relationship and had even sought professional help. Yet they could not keep the resolve their issues. They stated that they would remain friends even after going their own ways.

While Sandberg knew Khalifa’s history before marrying her, a doctor in New York claims he was defrauded by his wife of five years. 41-year-old Han Jo Kim accusing his wife, 32-year-old Regina Turner, of fraud for having a secret double-life as a “high-priced call girl”.

Kim, who earns around $3 million, married the former beauty queen on Nov. 27, 2015. The couple had been living in a $6.5 million apartment in New York City together. In December 2020 Kim reportedly saw explicit messages on his wife’s phone. The messages were discussing the sexual encounter that the sender had with Turner.

Turner has been accused of having sexual relations with an award-winning lighting director and a New Jersey-based real estate agent. Her financial records allegedly show $675,030 cash deposits between 2015 and 2021.

In the 264-page divorce filing to the Manhattan Supreme Court, Kim wanted his marriage annulled on the grounds of fraud. He stated that his wife had been working as a sex worker since before their marriage. He claims she lied about working on an app and having a college degree. They settled their divorce before a scheduled public hearing.
