A new line of clothing is fusing fashion and technology in order to apparently protect you from social media. Kunihiko Morinaga, a Japanese designer, has created a clothing line that protects you from the social networks, in addition to wind and rain. This amazing clothing line called "Focus Gear Life," is made with special material for the sole purpose of blocking electromagnetic waves so that any device kept inside the clothes cannot receive or transmit calls, text messages or facebook and twitter alerts.

Kunihiko Morinaga, revealed that "Since internet and smart phones make everything very comfortable, we spend more time in the virtual world than with real people. So we decided to create a clothing collection to help people get rid of these distractions and focus on real life." The Japanese designer also revealed that "We use manufacturing techniques that protect the wearer from the rain and wind, as well as the storm of information." The clothing line is being promoted by Trident gum.

The Trident campaign reads: "We love technology and always being connected. You can chat, tweet, like and engage with “friends” all over the world. But sometimes our devices take up too much of our time and attention. Often they distract us from the things we really want to focus on like pursuing our goals, enjoying a moment with friends, appreciating the world around us. Introducing, “Focus: Life Gear by Trident” - a fashion line that keeps technology in its place. Our Focus Life Gear is made of radio frequency shielding fabric."
