A Florida woman made headlines early this year—in April—for alleging that she did spot a baby dinosaur in her yard. Fast forward to six months from then, and she continues to remain convinced about the rare sighting.
“There has never been an answer to what it was. Even despite asking neighbors. We are all still convinced it's a dinosaur!” said Cristina Ryan to FOX 35 Orlando. “Any animal we can come up with that would be 'walking' at 3:40 in the morning, wouldn't walk this way. Maybe I've watched 'Jurassic Park' too many times, but I see a raptor or other small dinosaur,” she added.
Ryan had earlier reported that she spotted a dinosaur-like creature outside her Palm Coast pad in her CCTV camera. The footage captured what appeared to be a creature with a thick tail dashing through the yard, as cited on Fox News.
Ryan even argued that folks who remarked that the unusual sight could after all just be a large bird were just being mindless. “Some say a large bird, but that makes no sense -- since whatever it is appears to have front legs. So not sure? Lol. I'm sticking with raptor myself,” she remarked, as per station reports.
The circulation of the clip on social media sent netizens into a tizzy, with speculations pertaining to what the creature really was. “It looks like a sandhill crane to me. We get them in our yards all the time,” said one user as per Fox 35, while a few other comments read: “Looks like a Komodo dragon or some type of lizard!”, “Unless Fred Flintstone lost control of Dino, that's someone's pet on a leash” and the like.
A volley of users however sided with Ryan’s assumptions. “As a native Floridian, I can attest that this is absolutely a baby dinosaur. It came up from the underworld of the lizard Illuminati through the aquifer. All the locals know this! She must be a transplant.”
Another user added, “I've never seen a sandhill crane run like that. Look how right before the end. Whatever it is going lower and runs even faster. Only seen raptors run like that in the movies. Who knows – could be a dinosaur escape from a lab or a meth head, you never know in Florida."
