A Florida man was arrested after repeatedly calling 911 to threaten Donald Trump, including claims that he would "assassinate" him and launch missile attacks on Trump Tower in New York City.
Over the years, 34-year-old Justin Blaxton of Loxahatchee, Florida, had a documented history of mental health issues and numerous 911 calls making threats and complaints, NBC Miami reported.
On February 26, Blaxton dialed 911 multiple times, making alarming threats against Trump, demanding transportation to the White House to carry out an assassination, and falsely claiming to have hacked missile systems to target New York.
"I want a ride to the airport to go to the White House to assassinate the president," Blaxton said in one such threat. "I Want Donald Trump at my house, tomorrow is his last day on Earth."
Deputies attempted a wellness check at his home but initially could not locate him.
After receiving at least nine calls from Blaxton, Palm Beach County deputies eventually contacted him by phone, where he escalated his threats, stating he would kill his sons if Trump did not come to his house.
Due to the severity of his statements, authorities launched an investigation and arrested Blaxton on charges including making a false report of a bomb threat, threatening to discharge a destructive device, and misusing the 911 system.
He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail with a bond set at $35,000. Blaxton remains in custody, with his next court appearance scheduled for March 31.
