A man in Florida who was previously accused of sexually assaulting an Olaf stuffed doll in a Target store has been ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation by the circuit court judge ahead of his hearing next month. Cody Meader, 22, was charged with criminal mischief and exposure of sexual organs in October 2019 for dry humping toys in a St. Petersburg store.

According to an article on The Smoking Gun, Meader was appointed a psychologist by Judge Cathy Ann McKyton to undergo psychological evaluation to determine if he is competent to stand trial.

Should the case proceed to trial, prosecutors have evidence on hand that shows this was not the first time Meader has engaged in similar behavior in stores. Clearwater Police Department said they were called to a Walmart store years earlier when Meader was still a juvenile as he was caught performing sexual acts with stuffed animals, Crime Online wrote.

In his recent case, court documents detailed how Meader had found a stuffed unicorn at Target and had dry-humped it in view of the store’s loss prevention officer.

The Target loss prevention officer told authorities that he watched as Meader took a stuffed unicorn to the children’s bedding department, where he exposed himself and “took the unicorn and placed it against his penis and began a sexual motion like the subject was trying to have sex with the unicorn.”

After doing so, Meader placed the unicorn back on the shelf.

Store surveillance camera then captured Meader grabbing an Olaf stuffed toy, dry humped the doll face down on the floor until he ejaculated and wiped off the doll with his shorts when he got up.

Meader was detained in the store where police said he admitted to doing “stupid stuff.” His father, who was not at the scene, told police his son “has a history of this type of behavior.”

The arrest report states the dolls were removed from the store and destroyed.

Meader is scheduled for his next court date in April.
