A Florida construction worker died "screaming" after he was crushed by a steam roller in a horrific workplace accident.
Noel Soleyn was working as a contractor on a construction site in Palm Bay when a steam roller reportedly reversed into him, pinning him and causing his untimely death, FOX 35 reported.
"I heard screaming, and I didn't know what was going on. I looked across the street, and I saw the man pulling this other man from underneath there," Magdalena Gratia, a resident in the neighborhood, told FOX 35.
"It's going to be in my mind for a while because I'm thinking about his family — Christmastime, you know. It's horrible," she added.
Gratia watched as law enforcement freed the 61-year-old man and attempted to resuscitate him. He was declared dead at the scene and a white sheet was placed over his body.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is currently investigating the incident.
