A mother brought levity to Hurricane Helene's aftermath by sharing a sweet update from her daughter.
X user @bethbourdon wrote in her post, "my daughter lives in tampa and just went to check for any damage from Helene," which was accompanied by two photos.
One of the photos shares a picture of her daughter's car captioned "fish on my car." The second photo zooms in on a silver fish left behind by the hurricane.

Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida's Big Ben region before it tore across the Southeast. NBC News reported the Category 4 hurricane killed at least 42 people from Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas.
Helene weakened to a tropical depression but continued moving north, bringing "life-threatening" conditions with it. More than 3 million people have lost power across the region.
