Fernando Del Solar has been on a steep uphill battle against cancer for the last couple of years. The Azteca host, who has always been characterized for having a bubbly personality, lost a lot of his light when he became ill. His constant struggle with the disease even caused him to leave Ingrid Coronado and family behind.
Del Solar, who stepped away from the spotlight for a while in order to fully deal with his sickness, recently became more open about his situation and during an appearance on “Raquel y Daniel,” he told Raquel Bigorra and Daniel Bisogno that he was really excited to have new TV projects to work on.
According to TVnotas, the “Gánale al Chef” host announced last month that he was ready to move on and he was focusing all his energy on a new show called “Es Tu Gran Noche.” Unfortunately, “Ventaneando” announced this week that he is currently going through an emotional crisis that won't let him carry on with the production.
Fernando Del Solar has yet to comment on these declarations, but it has been reported that Rafael Araneda and Diego Schoening are the network's top choices to replace him on Azteca’s new TV show, “Sí Se Puede.”
