Fernando Del Rincón had been absent from CNN En Español for a couple weeks now and audiences had been missing him. The Mexican journalist had not come into an contractual agreement with his employer, which forced the anchor to step down from his post and leave the airwaves. Well, it looks like both sides have reached a new agreement and effective today Del Rincón will be back on the air hosting "Conclusiones." According to an e-mail received by HuffPost, Isabel Bucaram from CNNE, confirmed Fernando's return to the news network today, Monday, October 20.

About a month ago news broke that the two parties had not come into an agreement. Director of VIP Planning Production and Marketing Liason for CNNE, Isabel Bucaram, stated in an email to HuffPost: “CNN en Español and Fernando del Rincón were unable to reach an agreement to renew his contract for which del Rincón will be leaving the network. CNNE thanks him for his years of service and wishes him the best.” The timing of the announcement came right after Nicolás Maduro, President of Venezuela, said that CNNE was part of the media that had a complot against his government. Some media outlets concluded that it was because of this the news network decided not to renew Del Rincón's contract, which can now be debunked.

Fernando Del Rincón has been a staple and a familiar face to Hispanic audiences. He first gain notoriety hosting the Televisa show "Duro y Directo," which was similar in format to Univision's "Primer Impacto." He was then brought over to the U.S. as one of the co-hosts of Telemundo's morning show "De Mañanita." Soon after he jumped over to Univision to host "Primer Impacto" and the weekly "Ver Para Creer." After his time ended there he jumped ship to Mega TV where he hosted "Paparazzi TV Sensacional" before taking over the national newscast with "Mega News Nocturno." He would later join the CNN En Español on-air personalities hosting "Panorama Mundial" and "Conclusiones."
