A more carefree Britney Spears teased her fans and haters alike with a series of topless bikini shots from her recent weekend getaway with fiancé Sam Asghari, sparking mockery online as her fight for freedom out of her 13-year conservatorship seemingly draws to a close.
The "Oops!… I Did It Again" hitmaker, 39, shared a bunch of racy photos taken by Sam where she strategically placed small flower emojis on her body to cover her nipples and other private parts following a tropical beach holiday, according to TMZ.
Asghari, an ever-supportive beau for the pop star, would jest in the comments section and say, "#freethenipple," alongside messages of support from the Free Britney movement.
Spears would later claim the snaps were not photoshopped and sarcastically clarified that the tub at the background of her images was naturally curved, to which the fans begged to differ.
"The bathtub is warped [in] different ways," one user wrote, which is backed by another account saying, "Britney, you need to work on your photoshop skills yikes. Looking glam tho."
Another fan also said, "I wish you didn't feel the need to do this."
Her controversial IG post comes after Los Angeles judge Brenda Penny suspended her father, Jamie, from her conservatorship in a monumental court hearing on Wednesday after 13 years at the helm.
Her spicy social media content has since garnered close to four million likes as fans celebrate with the pop star, who now looks more at ease and free.
In a more serious post on Insta following the recent court ruling, Britney shared a rare insight into how she's feeling after her win in her ongoing battle to freedom, according to E! Online.
"Although there is change and things to celebrate in my life, I still have a lot of healing to do!!!" the songstress said in her caption. "Thankfully, I have a good support system and am taking time to understand."
She would add, "it's ok to slow down and breathe" during this transformative time in her life. An insider then echoed the star's sentiments, saying Britney is elated with a future to look forward to, noting she owes it to her fans for getting it this far.
The Daily Mail noted that once her 13-year conservatorship battle is over, the "Everytime" singer would most likely move out of the valley and buy a new home with Sam amid reports the couple are ready to start their new lives together without the constraints of her court order.
The next court date in Britney's conservatorship case is slated for Nov. 12.
