A mysterious teaser site that many assume is for the highly-anticipated game, "Fallout 4" has been updated to include the phrase "Nuclear winter has come" IGN reports. The site, TheSurvivor2299.com, was updated earlier today to include the new words above the countdown clock that is set to expire Dec. 11. While this new information leads many to believe this is evidence that this could potentially be a "Fallout 4" reveal, there are a number of problems that suggest this site and countdown could be for a new game entirely.

The teaser site, which is registered to ZeniMax Media Inc, was originally believed to be a potential teaser site for "Fallout 4" but new evidence within the script of the site may suggest otherwise. TheSurvivor2299.com was revealed by Reddit users who also unveiled javascript code specifically calling for "Fallout." The group of Reddit users also identified the page's morse code as a date, as for what the date pertains to is still a mystery. IGN also reports a whois directory search identifies ZeniMaxMedia owns the Bethesda's developer/publisher division and is a domain owner for Thesurvivor2299.com.

ZeniMax registered both Wolfenstein's and The Elder Scrolls' domains through Corporate Domains Inc, while TheSurvivor2299 was registered with GoDaddy.com. Meanwhile, ZeniMax uses its own DNS servers for its registrations (ns1.zenimax.com) while TheSurvior2299 uses a separate, self-branded server: ns1.thesurvivor2299.com. Furthermore, the whois page for TheSurvivor2299 is also missing Corporate Service Company's Corporate Domains Inc promotion introducing ZeniMax's known, legitimate domains. As for now the site is a mystery to us all and we won't really know what the countdown is about until Dec. 11.
