Facebook will be holding a press conference today June 20. It's unclear whether the company will announce at their campus in Menlo Park, or why they would schedule an event the same time as Samsung. But for those wanting to watch the Facebook event live stream can do so on their site at 1pm EST.

No one knows exactly what will be unveiled or announced at this press conference but many have speculated that a Vine competitor via Instagram will be revealed.

Within the last year, Facebook has presented us with Graph Search, its new News Feed, and Facebook Home. With their $1 billion acquisition of Instagram, the company has made changes to the mobile photo-sharing network as well. So it would come as no surprise that the announcement today will be some kind of video sharing application to compete with Twitter's Vine.
