The 2014 Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix is Sunday, June 22, at 7:30 am EDT. The Austrian Grand Prix will be shown on NBC this Sunday morning but for race fans who are enjoying a rack of ribs at the park this Memorial Day weekend, be sure to catch the live stream online by signing up for NBC Sports LiveExtra here.

Austrain GP Qualifying session 3 should come to know surprise to race fans as a Mercedes engine race car once again locks the front row of the grid. However, it is not team Mercedes! Felipe Massa earns his first pole with Williams F1 at Austria's Red Bull Ring. Teammate Vatteri Bottas also joins Massa on the front row after losing out on pole by less than a tenth of a second. We knew teams were delivering new upgrades for the Austrian Grand Prix but it's hard to imagine that Mercedes AMG Petronas is seriously under pressure.

Mercedes driver and championship leader Nico Rosberg starts third and is just a little more than a tenth behind Massa. However, Rosberg will be relieved to know that teammate Lewis Hamilton will start on Sunday from a devastating ninth place on the grid after running wide on a corner, invalidating his lap time.

The qualifying results are also interesting to see as both the fastest Ferrari and fastest Renault are approximately half a second off of the leading Mercedes. Fernando Alonso starts fourth ahead of Daniel Ricciardo in fifth position. Next, Kevin Magnussen, Daniil Kvyat, Kimi Raikkonen, Lewis Hamilton, and Nico Hulkenberg, who failed to set a time, will round out the Top 10. Unfortunately, reigning world champ Sebastian Vettel qualified 13th, though he is promoted to 12th as a result of Sergio Perez's 5-place penalty.
