There has been much speculation regarding the reading of legendary actress Silvia Pinal's will. However, there is now a clearer picture about when the future of Mexico's last great cinema diva's assets will be revealed.

María Elena Galindo, Pinal's executor, confirmed to Televisa Espectáculos that the will would be read soon, but several investigations needed to be conducted and concluded before.

Although nearly two months have passed since the actress's death, Galindo stated it is still not time to gather the family to disclose Silvia Pinal's last wishes. However, she hinted at an approximate timeline, estimating that the process will take another three months.

The reason behind the delay

Without providing many details, Galindo explained that the family meeting to read the will only will happen after "the notary investigates and assesses everything related to Mrs. Pinal."

A few days prior, María Elena—sister of Daniela Romo's manager, Tina Galindo, who was the originally appointed executor of Pinal's estate—shared that she only learned about her role as executor only after the beloved actress passed away.

Unfortunately, Tina Galindo passed away in January 2024.

These developments follow weeks of rumors, including claims from journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante, who asserted that the will had already been read and provided details about what was in it and its alleged distribution.

"The biggest conflict was between Alejandra Guzmán and Efigenia... Alejandra doesn't want to compensate her, and Sylvia Pasquel doesn't either," Infante said at the time.

However, the statement was later debunked, as the will had not yet been disclosed to the family. María Elena Galindo reaffirmed this point recently.

Silvia Pinal's rumored assets

Silvia Pinal's successful career as an actress in film, theater, and television resulted in significant assets that her family will likely now inherit.

Her reported estate includes a building, an apartment in Acapulco, parking spaces with paid leases, and a trust fund that could be divided among family members, including her estranged granddaughter Frida Sofía. Additionally, there is her iconic mansion located in the exclusive Jardines del Pedregal area of Mexico City.
